Founded in 1921, this traditional camp is set on a 100-acre property, bordered by a beautiful freshwater lake. Here, children are encouraged to explore various fields such as baseball, basketball, horseback riding, and even survival skills. Camp Fernwood takes pride in its community's liberal arts feel, attracting a variety of children - athletes, artists, actors, dancers, and those who simply relish the friendship and experience of living outdoors. With a medium size of 220 girls and a staff of 160, the camp maintains a close-knit ambiance while still being large enough to field competitive teams in many sports.
