Overview
Welcome to the wonderland of childhood exploration and adventure, affectionately known as Camp Hawkeye. This traditional style, coed residential camp, welcomes youngsters aged eight to sixteen, creating a vibrant, diverse community where everyone fits right in.
Glance around and you’ll be rewarded with a panorama of rustic charm. Our campus, set in the stunning lakes region of New Hampshire, gazes out over the serene beauty of Lake Kanasatka, just a stone's throw from the sprawling White Mountain National Forest. It's a setting that paints a picture of tranquility, yet brims with energetic possibilities.
At Hawkeye, a range of activities awaits eager young explorers. Whether it’s soccer, softball, or volleyball, swimming, tennis, or archery, there’s no end to the fun. Canoeing, hiking, and sailing? Yes, we've got those too. We cater to the traditional camp experience, but with a twist. We are proud of our diverse community and aim to bridge the gaps between cultures, backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses.
Our mission? Simple, yet profound. We aim to cultivate understanding and forge positive relationships amidst our young campers. We believe in the power of diversity, and we celebrate the differences that make us unique. We endeavor to provide a space where children can learn, grow, and most importantly, have fun in a safe and supportive environment.
In essence, Camp Hawkeye isn't just a summer camp. It's a melting pot of experiences, a place to make lasting friendships, and a stepping stone towards a more understanding and inclusive world.
